Before history was written, before the first cities rose, humanity looked to the sky and wondered.

Across mythology, sacred texts, and ancient ruins scattered throughout the world, fragments of a shared memory endure. They tell of beings who descended from the heavens and walked among humankind. Remembered as gods, angels, and teachers, they are reimagined here as the Anunnaki, an advanced civilization whose arrival shaped the course of human evolution.

In a distant prehistoric past, early hominids encounter a presence beyond their understanding. What appears miraculous is deliberate. Through quiet observation and careful intervention, knowledge is seeded and order begins to take form. As millennia pass, that influence echoes through the first great civilizations, in their laws, their architecture, their astronomy, and in the mysteries they leave behind.

In the present day, a parallel journey unfolds. Modern explorers travel to ancient sites across the globe, uncovering buried truths that suggest these stories were never merely myth. Past and present converge to reveal a single unfolding narrative.

Blending mythology, religion, ancient history, and speculative science fiction, this film invites us to see humanity’s greatest mysteries not as isolated legends, but as chapters of one enduring story in which our origins were not accidental, but awakened.

Created as a proof-of-concept for a larger hybrid live-action and AI-assisted streaming series, this short film only scratches the surface of a much larger story world.

Based on the graphic novel of the same title.

Based on the acclaimed graphic novel, this film explores one of history’s greatest mysteries through a compelling blend of mythology, science fiction, and ancient astronaut theory. Drawing inspiration from legends, myths, and religious traditions from civilizations around the world, it reimagines the existence of powerful beings who interacted directly with humanity and shared advanced knowledge with the earliest cultures.

The story follows the legendary Anunnaki, first described in ancient Sumerian texts, and traces their extraordinary journey from the distant planet Nibiru to Earth. Beginning with a remarkable discovery in the present day, the narrative travels back hundreds of thousands of years to uncover a captivating vision of humanity’s origins and the enduring legacy of these mysterious beings.
