A village in the São Paulo neighborhood of Santa Cecília becomes the center of a conflict between a real estate developer and a pair of activists fighting against property speculation, just as a series of mysterious disappearances of women begins to unfold in the area. One man appears to be connected both to the disappearances and to the village, where the discovery of a statue by a renowned Italo-Brazilian sculptor makes the situation even more complicated.

A man works as a caretaker at a human breeding farm. One day, however, the farm is suddenly ordered to shut down due to poor financial performance.
