Everyone is scared of death in some way. I was also afraid of it until, one day, I decided to crush my fears. I come from a culture where cinema, literature, and theater are too meaningful. So, I have decided to use them to overcome my fears. For many years I was influenced by a great director Woody Allen. This Love and the other points have made me decide to make the short film Woody Allen Takes Revenge. I don’t know how much success I’ve had in expressing my thoughts in this movie, but I have tried to do my best. The Film is a Black Comedy with some references to various theatrical, cinematic, and television productions like Death Knocks, the series Game of Thrones, the movie The Seventh Seal, the music video Unforgiven 2, and some other products.
About the director:
Peyman (Mohsen) Naji, born on 24 August 1980, is an Iranian director, screenwriter, and actonema (The House of Cinema) and a screenwriting teacher in Iran. Peyman Naj graduated in Acting in 2013 from the Karnameh institute in Teheran. He graduated in Directing from the lesson of Famous Iranian Director Asghar Farhadi and graduated in directing from the course of Shahram Mokri.
